Jasmine and Ryan were married on a hot summers day in July, right on the sand of Cottonwood Beach in Washougal, Washington. There wasn't a cloud in the sky.
Marrying each other on the beach was fitting, seeing as the two had met on very similar terms in Belize just two years prior. Jasmine was on a solo vacation enjoying herself, when she met Belize native, Captain Ryan Bennett - Owner Operator of the El Rey. Ryan runs Three Seas Tours, showcasing different areas off of the shores of Caye Caulker.
I met these two the morning of their wedding, both getting ready in separate rooms at the the Best Western in Washougal. Jasmine had such a great energy!! I love it when brides have their music going, the champagne flowing, and are just so excited to become Mrs.
After the two got ready at The Best Western we all hopped in cars and drove to Cottonwood Beach. It was a Saturday in July, so naturally it was packed with beach goers. We traveled to the far end of the beach near the shelters, and were able to find a small section of secluded area.
After the ceremony the group headed back up to one of the shelters where Ryan put on a show for us -- making his signature Ceviche and guacamole for guests, the same that he makes for his tourists on his ship. It was incredible!!
After food, it was time for cake cutting!
Jasmine & Ryan thank you so much for having me capture this special day for you!! It was such a beautiful ceremony and celebration. There is just something so intimate and beautiful about small beach ceremonies followed by a wedding BBQ.
Enjoy the good life in Belize!!!
